P&G China was established on Aug 18, 1988, with the joint Venture of Guangzhou Soap Factory & Hongkong HWL Ltd.  Today, P&G is the largest consumer products company in China.  P&G products manufactured in China are based on unique local consumer needs and are sold primarily to Chinese consumers.
